Lumpectomy for Breast Cancer with a Bi-lateral Breast Reduction. Wellesley, MA The amount of tissue in the cancer breast that had to be removed would have left an unsightly result. Rather than a mastectomy, I opted for a lumpectomy immediately followed by a bilateral reduction and lift. Fortunately I had large enough breasts to be able to do this (DD). Since I'm only 5' tall I now have a C cup which is much more attractive. Very pleased with the results!
