The attention I received from Dr. Sisco and his team was excellent. I was nervous because this was my first surgery ever, but I was treated with such professionalism and care, every step of the way.
I wanted my implants out as soon as possible I went to Dr. Sisco in May for explant/full capsulectomy surgery. I found Dr. Sisco to be honest, kind, and experienced. I wanted my implants out as soon as possible and did not want to be put on a 6 month waiting list for an "explant expert" surgeon. I trusted Dr. Sisco because he does a lot of reconstruction surgery for breast cancer survivors. I was also left with hairline scars which I appreciated. He knows what he's doing.
Implant Removal Hello! I have been on this website non stop reading other reviews which was very helpful. I am hoping my experience will be helpful to others. I didn't see many stories about having the removal under local anesthesia so here is mine. Positive Outcome of Breast Reconstruction I was diagnosed with DCIS in my left breast in Dec. 2016. I opted for a mastectomy and reconstruction surgery with Dr. Mark Sisco. The implant was inserted the same day as the mastectomy, so I woke up with a breast! I ultimately had nipple reconstruction and a tattoo to complete the look.
